Nigerian Man Vows Against DNA Test for Children He Loves

A Nigerian man has ignited a significant debate across social media platforms following his recent remarks concerning paternity fraud. In a video that has gained considerable traction online, the man declared his unwavering commitment to loving and claiming any child he has nurtured, even if a DNA test were to subsequently reveal the child's biological father to be his wife's former partner.
During his address, the man shared a compelling real-life account involving an acquaintance. This individual had discovered that a daughter born during his marriage was not biologically his. The situation reportedly intensified when the child's biological father appeared at the family's home, asserting a claim for the little girl's custody. To preserve his mental tranquility and family stability, the acquaintance deliberately chose to forgo a DNA test. Instead, he opted to embrace the girl with unconditional affection and eventually bequeathed a portion of his estate to her.
Inspired by this particular scenario, the speaker firmly articulated his own position. He stated unequivocally: "I do not pray for things like this to happen to me, I am saying it categorically: there is nothing in this world that would make go and conduct a DNA on the kids that I already love. If that child belongs to the other person, so be it but in my mind and till I go to heaven, that child remains my child. Doing that DNA might cause greater damage." He emphasized his belief that pursuing a DNA test in such circumstances could potentially inflict more harm than good on the family unit.
