NYSC Sets August 5 Date for 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Programme

The National Youth Service Corps has revealed that the orientation course for the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream II will commence on August 5, 2026, and will take place simultaneously across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. This three-week exercise is scheduled to run from Wednesday, August 5, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026. As part of the preparations, prospective corps members can now access their call-up numbers through their personal dashboards, while their call-up letters will be made available at a later date. According to a statement issued by the NYSC's Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, 'Call-up Numbers have been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective Corps Members, while Call-up Letters will be made available in due course.' The Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, has congratulated all prospective corps members who have been mobilised for the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream II service year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria. He wishes them a safe journey to their respective orientation camps and advises them to avoid travelling at night, urging them to strictly adhere to all travel and safety guidelines throughout their journey to the camps. This announcement comes after the successful conclusion of the 2026 Batch 'B' Stream I orientation exercise, which was held nationwide from June 10 to June 30, 2026. However, in Niger State, the exercise was rescheduled and held from July 7 to July 27 at the NYSC orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja, due to damage sustained by the state's camp.
