Tinubu Administration Disowns Fake Presidential Group

A recent statement from the Office of the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu has clarified that the so-called Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council is not a recognised organisation under the current administration. According to the statement, this group, which claims to have appointed one Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, is entirely fictitious and has no basis in reality. The Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, explicitly warned the public to be cautious of this false claim, stating that 'the unsuspecting public is hereby advised to note that such an office does not exist under this administration and no appointment has been made in that regard.' This clarification is aimed at foreign and diplomatic missions, financial institutions, development organisations, security agencies, and the general public, urging them to disregard any claims made by this purported council. The move is seen as a measure to protect the public from potential scams and to maintain the integrity of the presidency.
