On Sunday, the Oyo State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) organised a rally in Ibadan, where they called for an end to the growing insecurity in Nigeria. The event, which was tagged 'Community Sensitisation', was held at the Men of Issachar Vision Inc. in Olororo, Ojoo, Ibadan, and was led by the Deputy Chairman 1 of the Oyo State PFN, Bishop Matthew Olubusuyi. The rally drew a large crowd of ministers of God, who engaged in fervent prayers, seeking divine intervention to bring peace, stability, and protection to innocent citizens. They also prayed for the safe return of abducted teachers, students, and other victims of recent attacks. The event featured a peaceful procession, with participants carrying placards with various inscriptions, such as 'Let Nigerians Live', 'Every Life Matters', 'We Deserve Peace', and 'Nigeria Must Be Safe'. The clerics expressed concern over the rising wave of violence, kidnapping, and economic hardship, warning that continued insecurity could further destabilise communities and hinder national development. They called on the government, security agencies, and stakeholders to intensify efforts towards restoring peace, protecting lives, and ensuring the safe return of all abducted persons.
