Media personality D English Alhaji has sparked reactions online after recounting an alleged encounter with suspected bandits who reportedly contacted him through a video call.
Sharing his experience in a video, he claimed the individuals reached him through his WhatsApp number, which he said is publicly available on his Facebook page.
According to him, he was shocked after answering the call and allegedly coming face-to-face with armed individuals on video.
He further alleged that the callers questioned him about his religion and asked him to recite Islamic expressions, while also speaking Yoruba during the interaction.
D English Alhaji claimed the suspected bandits later pointed the camera toward what appeared to be ammunition, adding that the encounter left him deeply frightened and concerned about the growing boldness of criminal groups.
