A private school teacher in Kano has been remanded in court for allegedly s3xually abusing four minor sisters. The children's mother noticed one of her daughters was bleeding and upon questioning, they all alleged abuse by their teacher. The case has been adjourned until June 6 for continuation.
A Senior Magistrate Court has remanded a private school teacher, simply identified as Uncle Kamal, for allegedly s3xually abusing four minors, seven-year-old Hassana, Hussaina and Gambo, as well as their five-year-old sister. LIB reported that the four sisters, born to the same mother, attend Al-Hadeed Private School in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State. Prosecution counsel, Badamasi Gandu, told the court that the children’s mother first noticed that one of her daughters was bleeding from her private part and, upon questioning them, they all alleged that their school teacher had been s3xually abusing them. Gandu said medical reports also confirmed that the four children had been s3xually assaulted before the suspect was arraigned. The presiding magistrate ordered the remand of the teacher and adjourned the matter until June 6 for continuation of the case.
